The 2012 Jane’s Vineyard Pinot Noir has a medium red hue, with cranberry, cherry, tea and dusty oak aromas up front, followed by some cola, mocha and cocoa afterwards. The flavors are reddish in tone, with cherry, rhubarb and some earthy notes. The body is balanced with acidity, and shows some sweet oak flavors towards the finish. The 2012 Jane’s Vineyard Pinot will pair well with a range of dishes from hearty beef stew with vegetables to salmon or anything with mushrooms, pork, or wild game.
