2006 Coppola Diamond Collection Pinot Noir, Sonoma Regularly $17.99
Francis Ford Coppola has been in the winemaking business since he and his wife bought the old Inglenook Estate in 1975.  Since then, his wines have become more popular than he had ever imagined!  Coppola's staff no longer could handle the crowds that flooded the tasting room and winery grounds each weekend.  He was also concerned that the growth of his more popularly priced wines was cutting into the reputation of Rubicon, the flagship red Bordeaux-style blend made from the estate vineyard. So, he renovated the old Chateau Souverain property in Alexander Valley where the featured wines are the Diamond Series, Rosso and Bianco, Sofia sparkling wines and the Director's Reserve. These are his wines that “create a happy Italian family feeling."  The Diamond Series Pinot Noir is sourced from Northern Monterey County.  The vineyards in this region are chosen for their ideal sun exposure.  Intense flavors of black cherry, dark currant, and strawberry fill out the plush palate while notes of sandalwood continue into the soft, elegant finish.

2007 Don Miguel Gascon Malbec, Argentina Regularly $12.99
Malbec originated in Southern France and was introduced in Argentina in the mid 19th century.  It thrives here due to lack of rainfall and the high elevation of the vineyards. Don Miquel has some of the oldest Malbec vines in Mendoza which are located in the Agrelo, La Consulta, Vistalba and Tupungato districts.  The wine is aged nine months in a mix of American and French oak, both old and new.  It is full bodied and elegant with soft, round tannins, layered with flavors of blackberry, blueberry, dark cherry, violet and a hint of mocha.  If you are a Malbec lover, don’t miss this one!

2005 The Wishing Tree Shiraz, AustraliaRegularly $11.99
“The name comes from my childhood days. I, along with my two sisters and older brother, would run around our local park, under the watchful eyes of our mother and father. When we had suitably exhausted ourselves, we would gather under a beautiful old Oak tree, with wide trunk and massive almost exaggerated canopy. To gain a few minutes peace, our parents told us if we made a wish under this tree, it would come true. The tree became The Wishing Tree.”- John Larchet, Proprietor.
This is a medium-bodied wine that is more spicy than jammy, pleasant to drink and is ALWAYS an award winner!  86 Points, Best Buy in The Wine Enthusiast

2005 Trinchero Cabernet Sauvignon, CaliforniaRegularly $11.99
